Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products. 3 years of experience in building Android software products. 1 year of experience with application design and architecture. Preferred qualifications: 5 years of experience with Kotlin/Java. Experience with technical leadership. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user. Responsibilities Collaborate cross functionally to design, build and deploy exciting new product features in the Photos Android App. Work with other engineers to improve the software components and architecture. Identify, triage, debug, track and resolve issues in existing code. Help to ensure users trust in Google Photos.
