Key Details Employment: Permanent, part‑time. Schedule: 8 hours a fortnight, Saturdays 9:00 am–1:00 pm (flexible). Location: Slade Pharmacy Gosford, within Gosford Private Hospital. Who Should Apply: Early career Pharmacists; hospital experience not required. About the Role Brand‑new position supporting the expansion of our clinical discharge service on weekends. You’ll provide discharge medication lists, medication, and counselling to patients in the following areas: Critical Care Wards (ICU and Coronary Care) Cardiac Catheter Lab (Gosford Heart Centre) General Wards Hospital pharmacy offers a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where precision and collaboration are key, and your decisions will have a direct impact on patient outcomes. Shift Information Every Saturday, 9:00 am–1:00 pm (flexible) Additional weekday shifts may be available on occasion About You We’re looking for Pharmacists who thrive in fast‑paced clinical environments and bring a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a patient‑centred mindset. In this specialised setting, high‑pressure situations are not uncommon, so strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise effectively are essential. Prior hospital pharmacy experience is well regarded but not mandatory as full training and mentorship will be provided by the experienced Slade Pharmacy Gosford team. Community pharmacists looking for their first role in hospital pharmacy are encouraged to apply. Essential Requirements General registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice. Permanent Australian working rights. Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). Desirable Skills & Experience Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience.
