As our fire suppression operations continue to grow across the South West, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Bunbury. This is a Full‑time, permanent role based in Bunbury with some regional travel & on‑call required. About the Role We are looking for an Australian trade‑qualified professional with hands‑on experience in electrical installation and certification of fire detection and suppression systems. Key Responsibilities Service and maintain Fire Alarm Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment in accordance with Australian Standards. Install, network, and program various detection sensors (e.g., Xtralis / VESDA systems). Diagnose and resolve faults in fire systems, networks, and access control systems. Install and program fire panels from manufacturers such as AMPAC, Notifier, and Vigilant. Set up and maintain site monitoring systems (e.g., Graphics, SCADA). Install and service gaseous suppression systems and related equipment. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all fire systems and equipment. Service portable fire equipment. Perform additional tasks as required. Service & replacement of Emergency lighting What We’re Looking For Current ‘A’ Class Electrical License – preferred but not essential Open Cabling Registration. EAHL License (2, 3, 6) – preferred but not essential. Certificate II in Fire Protection Testing and Inspection – preferred but not essential. Valid manual Australian driver’s license. Prior experience in the fire protection industry. What We Offer A permanent, full‑time position based in Bunbury, servicing the South West region. Competitive salary package.
