Personal Care Worker (Geelong) - Overnight work Right at Home is a leading provider of in-home care and assistance, dedicated to supporting people to live independently with dignity, comfort, and safety. Position Summary We are seeking dedicated and compassionatePersonal Care Workers to join our care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care that supports clients to maintain their independence and wellbeing in their own homes. This particular role is predominantly overnight sleepovers within the person's home. Key Responsibilities Deliver personal care including showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Assist with light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Support clients with medication reminders and general health monitoring Escort clients to appointments, shopping, and community activities as required Report changes in client condition to care coordinators or registered nurses Maintain accurate documentation and uphold privacy and confidentiality standards Follow care plans and ensure safe manual handling practices at all times Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent (required) Current First Aid and CPR certification Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain) Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team A genuine passion for caring and helping others Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or home and community care Understanding of person-centred care principles Manual Handling training Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays Located in the North Geelong to Lara region What We Offer Meaningful work that makes a real difference Supportive team culture and approachable management Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle Competitive hourly rates with penalties and travel reimbursements Join a team that cares.
