Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

ASL Airlines Australia are seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis at our Brisbane Line Station maintaining our fleet of BAE 146 aircraft. Working alongside the supervising LAME’s, the AME is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and for the completion of assigned maintenance tasks. ASLA has over 20 years of Aviation experience and is an AOC of ASL Aviation Holdings. ASLA currently operates an all jet engine fleet, including the B737-800 and flexible passenger and cargo variants of the BAe146. The ASLA team consists of 150 passionate and experienced employees who operate from our bases in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne and Sydney. Qualifications & experience Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) Ability to obtain an Airside Driving Licence Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent qualification Ability to undergo and pass a pre‑employment medical assessment and Drug & Alcohol screening Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) preferred. Tasks & responsibilities Perform line maintenance activities on our fleet BAE146 Aircraft Record and report any defects identified during maintenance to the Certifying Employee and document them in the applicable Maintenance Record. Ensure all aircraft maintenance and associated documentation are completed in accordance with the MOE, Procedures Manuals, and the relevant CAMO requirements. Maintain personal tool control and ensure accountabilities for all tools and equipment used in maintenance. Uphold the general condition, upkeep, and housekeeping of work areas, and vehicles Adhere strictly to Engineering WHSMS policies and procedures. Support and promote SMS, QMS, and a Just Culture.
