Fitters - Darwin and Remote Mining Opportunities Impact Drill & Blast offers integrated drill and blast services, offering full Rock on Ground capabilities covering every stage of the project from survey, blast design, markout, drilling and bulk explosives supply to firing of blasts. With over 30 years’ experience, we service clients who work in the civil, mining and quarrying sectors. About this opportunity As we continue our rapid expansion in the industry, an exciting opportunity has emerged within our Brisbane operation for multiple highly skilled and trade-qualified Fitters . These positions can be based at Brisbane or Remote Mining Operations , offering a dynamic and engaging work environment. Be part of our thriving team and make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving industry Key Responsibilities Carrying out mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles, plant, and mobile equipment as per OEM guidelines. Managing breakdowns of equipment and vehicles to maximise operational productivity. Assisting in the development and training of co-workers. Our Successful Applicant should possess Cert III in Mechanical or Engineering Trade qualifications. Proven proficiency in drill rig repair and maintenance. Preferably adept at hydraulic problem-solving. Trade qualification in Diesel/Automotive/Mechanical disciplines. 2+ years of repair and maintenance experience.
