Matic Resources UHH (Ultra Heavy Haulage) Local Residence or FIFO - Perth to Karratha The Matic Group of Companies is a progressive transport and logistics company with a diverse range of operations throughout Australia. Due to our continued and expected growth, we are seeking suitably experienced Float operators for our UHH Resources Division. Key Responsibilities Truck and equipment safety Truck, trailer and equipment operation Safe machinery operation for loading/unloading Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to light to heavy equipment operations Equipment cleaning standards and procedures Different methods of securing and covering loads such as using chains, locks and straps An understanding of the Road Code, defensive driving techniques and relevant transport laws Knowledge of the area they work in and the correct routes to take Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to identify and handle hazardous road conditions Identifying and assessing manual handling hazard and risks FIFO (out of Perth) to work a 2/1 roster based on 12-hour shifts including Overtime Hourly rate will be determined based on experience.
