Cape York Gulf Remote Area Aboriginal And Torres Strait Islander Child Care Advisory Association Inc – Cairns QLD Due company expansion, RAATISC are looking for an experienced, motivated community focused individual to join the friendly RAATSIC team as an Operations Manager - (identified preferred position) – Executive Team – Cairns. Our Organisation: RAATSIC is committed to the development and maintenance of a workplace culture that delivers culturally relevant and professional programs to clients with integrity. Position Purpose: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of an organisation. This involves planning and organising processes across our different programs within the organisation to optimise efficiency and has a positive impact on staff retention, motivation including formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring materials and resources, and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. The Operations Manager needs to be knowledgeable in various areas, including human resources, production processes, quality control, inventory management, logistics, and customer service. They also need excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions quickly. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to managing and motivating teams including the company’s values are effectively integrated into the company’s culture. The Opportunity: This position is Full-time and based in Cairns with regular travel required in service delivery communities and other areas as required. Human services minded leader with a passion for people, performance, remote service delivery, and operational excellence. Being a part of the Organisations journey of growth and leading program delivery with the sector within the ATSICCO space. About You: Ability to be accountable and lead a team, have attention to detail and high ethical standards Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations and to support staff in managing complex cases. Ability to work under limited direction and make critical decisions relevant to operational needs. Resilient and empathetic, able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
