The Head of Gas Development will work closely with the Chief Energy Transition Officer and will have significant influence across the organization and the sector, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including government, regulators, industry bodies, and the community. Applicants for the Head of Gas Development position should be accomplished leaders with deep experience in gas, energy, or infrastructure development. A sophisticated understanding of gas and electricity markets, as well as a proven track record in delivering commercially and strategically meaningful outcomes, is essential. The role requires strong technical capability, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate regulatory complexity. Experience in commercial and deal structuring, particularly in the context of public and private partnerships aligned with energy roadmaps, is highly valued.
