Mission & Outcomes As an Intermediate Accountant on our Australia team, you will be the client‑facing expert who ensures accounts are accurate, BAS/IAS lodgements comply and financial insights drive decisions. Prepare and lodge accurate BAS and IAS, reconciling GST and payroll liabilities with ATO regulations. Maintain full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients using cloud systems such as Xero and Dext; manage fixed assets, journals and reporting. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, payments and reconciliation. Collaborate with bookkeeping and tax teams to guarantee transaction recording accuracy and ledger integrity. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports that offer clear insights for client decision‑making. Provide payroll support and act as the go‑to advisor for day‑to‑day accounting needs, ensuring adherence to Australian regulatory standards. Minimum Experience & Location 3+ years as an Accountant in Australia (Xero or equivalent experience preferred). Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.
