About The Role
We are looking for Occupational Therapists to provide life‑changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants, supporting adolescents and young adults aged 9‑25 as they navigate life with a disability through early adulthood. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full‑time role, but part‑time is also considered. As an Occupational Therapist at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same. You may find yourself: Working in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
Using evidence‑based measurement tools to create therapy plans and provide life‑changing occupational therapy that maximises NDIS funding. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary youth team to wrap the right supports around participants, empowering them to achieve greater outcomes. Building meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends). Attending weekly team meetings at the hub and sharing stories of impact.
Tapping into the knowledge and support of a Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor. Who We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. General AHPRA registration. A positive and flexible approach to work.
Strong communication skills and a team‑player attitude. Commitment to personal and professional development. Valid driver’s licence. NDIS Workers Screening Check.
Working With Children Check.
Experience
working in NDIS/disability (preferred but not essential).
