About the Job We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on IT Support Engineer. In this role you will play a vital role in delivering seamless technology operations and user experience across OET. The role combines a passion for hands‑on end‑user support and on‑the‑floor enablement with Level 2 technical expertise to address both immediate user needs and the long‑term stability of OET’s technology environment. Working under the guidance of the Technical Lead IT Operations, the role provides advanced support across cloud services, M365, and networking while maintaining an approachable presence in the office to ensure users feel supported and empowered in their day‑to‑day work. Responsibilities Provide advanced Technical Support (L2) through diagnosing and resolving advanced issues across Windows, M365, Azure AD, networking, and security platforms. Administer and optimise Cloud & M365 and Azure AD environments. Maintain approachable and responsive End‑User Support and IT presence in the office to provide on‑the‑spot assistance for Level 1–2 incidents when required to maintain service continuity, support meeting rooms, AV, and collaboration spaces. Support and administer Application & System Support for enterprise and SaaS applications (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ITSM, SharePoint, Citrix) and assist with integrations and access management. Partner with Managed Service Provider (MSP) to provide Network & Security on‑site support for the operation and monitoring of wired and wireless networks, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls. Execute provisioning and deprovisioning of User Onboarding & Offboarding to ensure a timely setup and smooth transitions. Create and maintain Documentation & Training such as user guides, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation. Deliver ad‑hoc training sessions to enhance user self‑sufficiency and best practice adoption. Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Security Engineer Associate. 4–5 years’ experience in IT support or systems administration, including Level 2+ responsibilities within a hybrid or cloud‑first environment. Proficient in Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams. Understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing). Experience with endpoint compliance tools (Intune policies). Hands‑on experience with PowerShell scripting or other automation capabilities. Experience with ITIL‑based service management practices and modern ITSM tools. Exposure to deploying and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using modern tools and practices is desirable. Understanding of frameworks and industry standards such as ITIL, COBIT.
