Volunteer Visitor with COTA SA - Spread warmth this Christmas in Chandlers Hill We’re looking for caring volunteers to visit lonely or isolated individuals as part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme. No special skills needed – only kindness, a smile, and a little time to share. As a Volunteer Visitor, you can: Bring companionship to someone who may feel forgotten Share a chat, a laugh, or a warm cup of tea Bring festive cheer simply by showing up Make someone’s Christmas feel magical again What you’ll receive: The joy of brightening someone’s holiday A meaningful way to give back Memories that last far beyond the season If you believe Christmas is about community, compassion, and connection, we’d love to welcome you. The commitment is minimal: 1 hour per week or fortnight, enough to make a huge difference in the life of someone socially isolated because of mobility, family circumstances or health. COTA SA offers ongoing training, fuel reimbursements and continual support during your friendship journey. We match you with an older person based on shared interests and location and then support you to create a friendship through regular visits.
