This exciting role has become available for a customer focused support officer to join our City Planning Support team. About the Position: Sitting within the City Development Division, you will work alongside a cohort of industry professionals and be an integral part of a high performing customer focussed and results orientated support team. As part of City Planning Support team, you will deliver a range of administrative and customer service functions to the community as well as to the statutory planning and building units. The focus of this role will be data entry with a strong attention to detail. About You: You will be an agile individual with a focus on excellence in service delivery and a commitment to team‑work and supporting other your colleagues. You will be a self‑starter, keen to share knowledge, embrace change and learn new processes in a team environment. Demonstrated customer service experience and ability and commitment to working as a supportive, sharing team member Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail Electronic integrated systems capability with a strong interest in continuous learning Pathway, TRIM, GIS and Microsoft Office experience an advantage Previous Local Government experience desirable Requirement of the position: Right to work in Australia Employee Working with Children’s Check Satisfactory National Police Check Other pre‑employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements Benefits: As a City of Monash employee, your personal and professional development is a key focus.
