Location: MaroubraStart Date: March 2025Contract Term: 12 months +Children: Boys aged 3yrs and 23 mths Pay: $40.68 per hour + Super Days and Hours: 4 days per weekMonday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM A warm and family-oriented household is seeking a kind, hardworking, and reliable nanny to support the daily care and development of their two young boys aged 23mths and 3yrs old. This is a long-term role, with the opportunity to evolve as the children grow. The family values happiness, sibling bonding, and strong relationships with grandparents, and they are looking for a nanny who can integrate seamlessly into their dynamic. About the Role The nanny will play a key role in helping the parents manage daily routines, engaging in active play and learning. driving the children to activities, preparing meals and some house management . The role is primarily focused on the youngest child (who has several weekly activities), while the oldest attends daycare nearby. Responsibilities Morning routine: Help the children get ready, including sunscreen, teeth brushing, and dressing Activity drop-offs & pickups: Drive to swimming, music, soccer, and play classes Occasional daycare pickups for the oldest (short 2-minute drive) Prepare and serve dinner for the children each evening (not for parents) Afternoon outdoor play in the garden or park Assist with bath time and winding down for the evening Light household tasks ()kitchen tidy/unpacking dishwasher, laundry, small errands like milk/bread, tidying up after activities) Occasional trips to the shops to get new clothes / shoes for the boys and for haircuts or to a doctors appointment About You The family is looking for someone who is:✔ Happy, hardworking, and reliable✔ Experienced with young children (formal nanny experience is a plus but not essential)✔ Comfortable working in a home where grandparents are actively involved✔ Able to build a strong bond with the children and foster a positive sibling relationship✔ Flexible and adaptable Requirements 2+ years experience caring for children of a similar ageChildcare qualifications are preferred but not essentialDriver’s license required (must have own car)Working With Children Check required First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)Comfortable in water (to assist during swimming lessons if needed) Additional Notes Grandparents are actively involved in the children’s lives and will be around some afternoons Mum works from home but keeps a clear boundary between work and family time. )She is available to respond to questions and issues immediately unless she is on a work call. Grocery shopping is minimal (only occasional errands for essentials) This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a dedicated and nurturing nanny who wants to be part of a supportive and loving family.
