Electronic Equipment Trades Worker is a role in Mansys Pty Ltd recruiting for Esprit Network Pty Ltd, based in Seven Hills NSW. The business provides tailored security solutions for residential homes and commercial premises. They specialise in services such as audio, high‑resolution colour and monochrome video door entry systems, intercoms, automatic door and gate operator systems, intelligent home automation, CCTV and integrated access control. Key Responsibilities and Duties Inspect sites and talk to clients to determine security requirements. Perform service and installation of access control, intrusion alarm, closed circuit television systems, IP camera systems and other security‑related systems; undertake upgrades and additions to increase functionality and usability. Evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot systems and perform repairs as necessary. Coordinate with management and other trades to complete projects/work orders efficiently. Maintain and adhere to operational procedures and complete appropriate documentation. Be responsible for assigned tools, plant and test equipment. Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and ensure availability of required items. Intermediate knowledge of computer, networks, and information technology related systems. Intermediate knowledge of structured cabling; ability to select the proper type of cable and perform installation in plenum or non‑plenum rated environments. Work safely and follow safety rules; report unsafe working conditions and behaviour; take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices. Essential Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills Understanding of basic electronic communications systems – signal paths, blocks, simple modulation concepts, fault‑finding in comms sub‑systems. Solving problems in DC circuits, amplifiers, digital sub‑systems and resonance circuits. Computer Software ServiceNow, Office 365, control/embedded style programming (logic, I/O control), HTTP, routing. Must Have Certificate III in Electronics and Communication. 3 years of Australian experience in a related field. Soft Skills Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work in a fast‑paced environment.
