Cadet Electrical Engineer

You’ll be assisting the Engineering Services and Design teams in the planning, coordination, and delivery of building services across a diverse portfolio of leasing, capital, and development projects. The role provides hands‑on exposure to design reviews, services coordination, technical assessments, and site verification activities from a client‑side perspective. What will set you apart from the rest? You enjoy the hands‑on element of site‑based construction management, and your personal characteristics will include high levels of drive, motivation. You will have a proactive approach to problem solving, have solid communication skills and are able forge strong working relationships with internal and external teams. Experience Required Minimum 2 years’ experience in an electrical engineering or building services environment. Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and electrical services layouts. Exposure to design review or project coordination within the building or infrastructure sector is advantageous. Qualifications Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or equivalent degree recognised by Engineers Australia) is desirable. Eligibility for Graduate Membership with Engineers Australia preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and exposure to CAD or BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is desirable. Current driver’s licence is preferred (for site visits). The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $90,000 plus super dependant on skills and experience.
