As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a proactive and professional Junior IT Support Officer to join our Information Technology team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an entry-level IT professional to build their technical skills and gain hands‑on experience within a dynamic and client‑focused organisation. About the Role Reporting to the IT Operations Team Leader, the Junior IT Support Officer will be responsible for providing Level 1 technical support to internal users and assisting with client‑facing IT enquiries . You will play a key role in maintaining the stability of our systems, supporting day‑to‑day IT operations, and ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues. Key Responsibilities Provide first‑level IT support to internal staff and external clients via phone, email, and ticketing system. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows , Microsoft 365 , internal insurance administration systems , hardware , printers , and network connectivity . Assist with user account setup and management in Active Directory and AWS‑based applications . Support onboarding activities, including configuration of new computers, peripherals, and access permissions. Escalate complex incidents to senior IT staff or third‑party providers where necessary. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation of support activities and IT assets. Contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes and client service delivery. Skills and Experience A keen interest in information technology and providing customer‑focused support. Foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems , Microsoft 365 , and basic networking concepts. Exposure to or an interest in AWS cloud technologies is advantageous. UX/UI design and Figma experience will be considered an advantage. Full stack development experience is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage time effectively. Relevant qualification (Certificate IV or Diploma in Information Technology) or currently undertaking IT studies.
