Operations Manager

One of the largest independent caravan repair centres in Victoria is seeking a full time Operations Manager for their Campbellfield location. Reporting directly to the owners you will oversee and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the business. The Operations Manager will oversee the entire business (with the owners) including servicing, general & insurance repairs and warranty work. With Divisional Managers already in place, you will be the daily 'face of the business', striving to increase business presence and growth of reputation. This is a hands‑on role in conjunction with the Divisional Managers, involved in pricing, quoting, invoicing, stock & dealing with customer enquiries etc. The role will also entail business development and growth opportunities while always seeking best business practices. The role will work closely with the Geelong Operations Manager, working together to create business consistencies and delivering outstanding customer outcomes. You are responsible for exceptional quality of repairs, smooth, efficient, safe and clean day‑to‑day operations of the workshops. This is a full‑time role, with no weekend work. About You The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the caravan industry, be business minded, customer focused and driven for excellence. You will be a people person, extremely organised and a problem solver. You thrive on a fast‑paced environment where every day is different. You are a leader, able to build relationships both internally and externally, and have experience managing a team, workshop and how to drive excellence. You are a numbers person, computer literate and have outstanding attention to detail. The Musts Knowledge of the caravan industry. Exceptional leadership abilities with a 'customer first' approach. Business acumen, numbers focused and computer literate. The highest levels of customer service with outstanding communication skills. The willingness to collaborate to achieve the desired goals. Experience in workshop management with high levels of organisation and attention to detail – 'exceptional is the only standard'. Problem solving, ability to think outside of the box.
