Senior Exhibitor Planner – Ekka Royal National Agricultural & Industrial Association of QLD Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Permanent Full‑Time, based at the Brisbane Showgrounds. The Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) is where the city meets the country – nine days of food, fun and celebration, attracting more than 400,000 visitors each year. Behind the scenes, a dedicated team delivers an experience that showcases the best of Queensland’s food, agriculture and entertainment. What You’ll Do Lead exhibitor strategy, leasing plans and revenue performance across food, commercial, rides and games. Build and manage relationships with exhibitors, ensuring every partnership adds value to the visitor experience. Deliver site layouts, leasing allocations and compliance across all exhibitor precincts. Oversee bump‑in and bump‑out logistics, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Mentor and support a small leasing team through planning and event delivery. What You’ll Bring 2–3 years’ experience in event sales, leasing or exhibitions (hospitality or recreation sector preferred). Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills. Experience with contracts, budgets and risk/compliance documentation. A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a high‑energy event environment. Knowledge of exhibitor strategies, traffic flow and event design is a bonus.
