Junior Full Stack Engineer – Sitemate Role Overview We are looking for a junior full stack software engineer to join our supportive and collaborative engineering team. You will be part of a cross‑product team that builds a platform to help industrial companies streamline and standardise their processes. Base Pay Range A$85,000.00–A$115,000.00 per annum (includes super). Employment Full‑time Based in Sydney, Australia or Melbourne, Australia (remote options available) Travel to office occasionally for meet‑ups and team events. What You’ll Do Architect, write, test, and ship features that solve real customer problems. Collaborate with Product Designers, QA Engineers, and senior developers to define scope and deliver on time. Investigate production issues using Bugsnag, Datadog, and other toolsets, then implement hotfixes. Participate in code reviews and contribute to our internal design guidelines. Help maintain and evolve our build, deployment, and monitoring pipelines. Skills & Experience Required 1–2 years of experience as a full‑stack engineer. Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, and a modern front‑end framework (Angular or React). Familiarity with CSS, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with MongoDB and AWS is a plus. Experience building low‑code or no‑code automation products is a bonus. Broad understanding of the open API ecosystem, best practices, and industry trends.
