Located on the Gold Coast, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding dining experiences through fresh ingredients, creative dishes, and a professional team environment. We are currently seeking experienced Chefs and Cooks to join our busy kitchen team. Chef Positions Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations during service Monitor stock levels, ordering, and cost control Ensure food quality, portion consistency, and presentation standards Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and HACCP compliance Contribute to menu planning and daily specials Skills & Experience: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification) Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant environment Sound knowledge of seafood and Mediterranean cuisine highly regarded Strong organisational and leadership skills Excellent communication and ability to perform under pressure Cook Positions Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and standards Ensure dishes are prepared efficiently and presented consistently Assist with stock rotation, kitchen cleanliness, and daily prep Follow all food safety and workplace health and safety procedures Work collaboratively with the Chef team during service Skills & Experience: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification) Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Reliable, punctual, and passionate about food quality Why Join Us Competitive salaries based on role and experience Professional and supportive kitchen team Long-term career growth opportunities within a respected hospitality group Work at one of the Gold Coast’s most established and well-known restaurants About George's Paragon Seafood Restaurant This company does not have any further information provided at this time.
