Squad Coach

The core purpose of this role is to implement the approved training program for the Squad. In conjunction with the CEO and Program Coach, coaching our Senior Development and Junior Gold Squads you will also assist and oversee the transitions of athletes from the Development Squad and athletes moving through to higher level squads. Coaching our Senior Development and Junior Gold Squads - Your responsibilities and dutiesinclude: Coaching: Assistthe athletes with goal settingand provide constructive feedback Develop programs for squad members toassistin meeting their individual needs Attend all pre-approved target meets with squad members Assessandadvisetransition ofathletesfrom Development and CountrySquads through to State Squad in conjunction withCEOandother Coach’s. Program Development: Liaise with theCEOon all matters relating to coaching for approval Assistwith training and retention ofathletesdirected by theCEO Contribute to development, junior development and transition squad coaching and programming decisions in consultationwith theCEO Communication & Public Relations: Maintain effective communication withathletes,parentsand instructors on program content Communicate relevant details formeets,carnivals and clinics as approved by theCompetitions Committee Keep records of squad attendance and ensure all key squad information isaccurateand up to date for Swimming Administrators Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check Apply via email including Cover letter, Resume and References #J-18808-Ljbffr
