As a Senior Support Worker in our accommodation setting at Mount Hutton, I will: Support the day-to-day running of specialist disability accommodation activities focused on Daily Living Skills, Independence and Active Person Centred Support. Work closely with the Service Coordinator to support the team's success, stepping up when needed. Facilitate customer focused daily activities such as personal goals, hobbies, and gardening to engage and inspire customers. Assist with administration tasks, including WHS audits (fire drills, site safety inspections) to ensure a safe environment. Help plan and review customer programs and plans, providing guidance to other support workers and ensuring that best practise is implemented and followed specific to the customer plans. Assist with rostering in Niara, and help cover duties when the Service Coordinator is absent. Be available from 8 am to 4 pm, ensuring consistent support throughout the day. I will support people with disability to achieve their goals and live with independence and dignity.
