Overview Join to apply for the Client Solutions Consultant role at Engine by Starling . Engine by Starling is Starling’s SaaS business. This role is based in Sydney, with a hybrid working approach and possible travel. Travel (including international) may be necessary depending on the client and engagement. About the role This exciting opportunity is based in Sydney. You’ll be part of the core Engine team, working directly with clients to launch new digital banking propositions across the region and to drive transformation within existing banks. You will be responsible for the successful implementation of the Engine platform for our clients on large-scale programmes end-to-end, focusing on a functional workstream (e.g., Onboarding, Lending, Migration, or Payments & Cards). You will work with clients to understand challenges and apply a technology-centred approach, developing a strong understanding of the Engine product and digital banking as it applies to markets worldwide. You’ll collaborate with Product owners and Engineering to design and implement solutions that meet client needs, and support clients throughout their transformation journeys with strong project management skills. What you'll get to do Build strong relationships at all levels of the client organisation, from pre-sales to implementation Understand client vision, challenges and priorities, applying knowledge of the Engine product Collaborate with product team and solution architects to design solutions that meet current and future client needs Take ownership for the delivery of an area of the solution, representing the client’s needs in internal planning Coordinate solution delivery with Engineering in line with programme timelines Support the transition from delivery into Run, setting up the Run team for success Contribute to the ongoing success of the Delivery function and share learning from client implementations Your background 5+ years experience in client-facing roles in consulting or technology delivery Experience in financial services and technology delivery Experience delivering complex programmes Ability to rapidly understand client problems and present structured solutions Ownership mindset with ability to escalate risks and issues as needed Excitement about Engine’s technology transforming banking in different markets Curious, detail-oriented, with a structured approach to complex problems Technical aptitude and self-motivation to work autonomously Strong facilitation and discovery session skills Excellent attention to detail and adaptable communication with senior stakeholders Flexible, hands-on, and comfortable working in an Agile environment Interview process Interviewing is a two-way process.
