Job Description We’re expanding our Adelaide Positive Behaviour Support team and are excited to welcome passionate practitioners who are ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families across our community. Successful candidates will be providing supports to NDIS participants living in the Adelaide Region. What's in it for you? Responsibilitieswill include : Supporting NDIS participants, along with their families and / or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies as per the positive behaviour support framework,with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community Ensuring individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions and strengths Building the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners Qualifications About you Completed a degree level qualification as an allied health professional is desired Report writing experience Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas Genuine passion for working in the disability sector Additional Information Our fast-growing team of more than 3,500 people around Australia represent a huge array of life experiences, skills and ways of thinking.
