After-School Nanny – Fig Tree Pocket, QLD Start: 5 January 2026 Pay: $40 per hour Contract – 12 months with potential to become permanent/long term A warm and caring family in Fig Tree Pocket are seeking a nurturing, organised, and fun after-school nanny to care for their 11-year-old twin boys .This role will suit someone kind, patient, and reliable who enjoys engaging with school-aged children and helping with homework, meal prep, and evening routines. Days & Hours: Monday: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday: 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm Friday: 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm Responsibilities Welcome the boys home after school and support their afternoon routine Provide gentle encouragement for tidying up (e.g., unpacking school bags and lunch boxes) Supervise and assist with homework Prepare and cook family dinners (menus and ingredients provided) Prepare lunchboxes for the next day Engage the boys in conversation, play, and quiet downtime activities Keep the kitchen clean and tidy after meal prep Occasionally collect the boys from school (approximately 5–10 times per year) Requirements 3+ years previous experience working with children of similar age Warm, caring, and fun personality Reliable, organised, and proactive Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) Confident driver with own car (no car seats required) Comfortable with pets (family has a gentle senior Maltese Terrier) About the Family This is a kind and close-knit family with two happy, curious boys and their beloved dog.
