About the Role The Environmental Services Assistant is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean ward/unit environment in accordance with Infection Control and Occupational Safety and Health regulations. Under the direction and supervision of Environmental Service Coordinators, you will provide effective support to contribute to the hospital’s operational needs. You will work within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at Beleura Private Hospital. Joining our team, you will be responsible for: Highest standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and non-clinical areas. Ensure all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times Adhere to all infection control guidelines and principles. About You Prior experience in a cleaning role within a healthcare setting is desirable Availability to work morning / afternoon and weekend shifts required Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure and independently as required Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures Proven experience with hazard identification Understanding of hygiene principles. Remuneration: Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
