Trade Waiter

Renowned for its modern Italian-inspired cuisine, exceptional wine list and vibrant yet refined atmosphere, Vin Populi is seeking a passionate and experienced Trade Waiter to join our accomplished team on a full-time basis. Tasks & Responsibilities Setting and arranging tables Taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting them with menus and drinks lists Recommending dishes and wines to complement food when needed Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff Serving food and beverages Opening bottles and pouring beverages Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers. Maintaining personal hygiene as well as following health and safety procedures. Skills Certificate III in Hospitality (Restaurant Front of House) OR equivalent qualification Previous experience in Australia is necessary (with a minimum of 12 months of relevant professional experience) Strong understanding of cuisine profile Understanding of Australian cuisine Working alongside the executive Chef and Management Team Strong knowledge of Italian & Australian wines Annual remuneration of $76,515 + superannuation will be offered to suitable candidate.
