About the Role As a Senior Associate in this Brisbane CBD team, you'll manage a diverse and stimulating portfolio of WorkCover files, acting for major insurers and employer clients across a range of industries. You'll run matters end-to-end, provide strategic advice, and contribute to high-quality advocacy and litigation. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously while still being supported by a collaborative, experienced and down-to-earth group of insurance lawyers. This team values strong communication, commercial thinking and genuine commitment to client service. What You'll Be Doing Managing a busy and varied WorkCover defendant file load. Providing concise, commercial and strategic advice to insurer and employer clients. Representing clients in conferences, mediations, and court proceedings. Preparing high-quality pleadings, advices and litigation documentation. Mentoring and supporting junior staff as required. Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service. What We're Looking For A minimum of 5+ years PAE , with solid experience in WorkCover / workers' compensation litigation -defendant experience highly regarded. Strong technical skills, sound judgement and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. Confidence in advocacy, negotiation and managing matters independently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues and stakeholders. A team-first mindset and willingness to contribute to a positive, supportive culture.
