Overview ARH Canberra, located in Pialligo, ACT, is seeking a passionate and skilled Hospital and/or Surgery Vet Nurse to join our dedicated team. Our hospital is fitted out with the latest tech, brilliant minds, and a whole lot of heart. No two days are the same and that’s exactly how we like it When things get busy, we pull together, laugh through the madness, and get the job done In This Role, You Will Be Providing pre- and post-operative care for hospitalised animals Assisting veterinarians during examinations, diagnostics, and procedures Managing the admission and discharge of surgical and hospital cases Conducting surgical and hospital nursing, including anesthetic monitoring Performing blood collection, testing, and IV catheter placement Preparing and administering medications as prescribed Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of surgical and treatment areas Educating pet owners on proper care and treatment plans Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adapting to a dynamic work environment and handling busy days efficiently Contributing to a positive and supportive team atmosphere Working a variety of shifts including days, evenings and nights We\'re Looking For A Cert IV qualified (or equivalent) vet nurse Minimum 2+ years of clinical nursing experience Great customer service and communication skills A reliable person with a positive attitude Ability to multi-task and maintain high standards A passion for continuous education and upskilling When You Join Us, You Can Enjoy A Full-time or Part-time position - we’re flexible Competitive salary + benefits that actually mean something A supportive team that wants you to grow Ongoing education and career development Staff discounts on products and services (because your pets deserve a perk too) A real opportunity to make a difference - every single day Join the ARH Canberra team today #ARH #VetNurseLife #CanberraVets #J-18808-Ljbffr
