We have a current vacancy for a childcare worker at our North Perth centre for an appropriately qualified and experienced Educator looking for the next step in their career. By joining The Schools of Early Learning you will have the opportunity to work in an organisation that offers: Professional development Ongoing training Career progression Supported probation training Large support network Monthly and annual staff recognition We are seeking confident, caring educators to become part of our team and to: Assist in preparing and maintaining reports on children’s work, interactions, attendance, and incidents. Assist with the preparation of written communication including necessary documents related to children’s activities and events. Maintain and organize confidential files, including attendance records, incident logs, and safety documents for both internal use and external activities. Ensure all areas are well prepared with the necessary equipment, making sure a clean and safe environment is maintained for both staff and children. Handle parental inquiries, highlighting urgent matters to the Centre Manager or other relevant staff. Assist in the organization of excursions and events, including coordinating logistics, processing parental consent forms, and ensuring all necessary permissions and safety protocols are followed. Attend relevant meetings with the Art Studio Coordinator and educators, ensuring action items are followed up. Ensure that the Centre’s policies and procedures are adhered to. The successful applicant will: Have a Diploma of Children’s Services, early childhood care education degree or an ACECQA approved equivalent. Have a working with children card. Have a medical certificate confirming they are fit to work in children’s services or be willing to obtain one. Be well presented. Be willing to learn. Be able to work as part of a team.
