We’re seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to oversee operations in our Geelong workshop from an office‑based leadership role – managing production flow, quality, and efficiency to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. What You’ll Be Doing Manage day‑to‑day workshop operations and ensure smooth production flow. Oversee fabrication workflows and resource coordination to meet project deadlines. Collaborate with Project and Production Managers to align workshop output with project requirements. Optimise use of our advanced machinery – including the Amada Laser Cutter , Voortman Manual Saw , and Zeman . Review fabrication drawings, resolve technical issues, and support production readiness. Monitor quality, safety, and compliance across fabrication activities. Drive process improvement, reporting, and workshop optimisation initiatives. What You’ll Bring Trade qualification in Boilermaking, Engineering , or equivalent. 5+ years’ experience in structural steel fabrication or workshop management. Proven ability to read and interpret complex fabrication and engineering drawings. Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills.
