The Role Our Project & Development Services (PDS) business line has a key role in managing the National Program Service (NPS) Package for the Defence Estate Works Program (EWP). The Program Analyst role will support data-driven program development and reporting for the EWP. Benefits 18 weeks paid parental leave for Primary Carer after 6 months of service Private Health Insurance Discounts Gym & Wellbeing Discounts Employee assistance program Health & Beauty Discounts Novated Lease for EV Cars Duties include but not limited to Support the development and maintenance of the EWP Prioritisation Matrix Analyse project data assess risks complexities and viability to inform program decision making Develop and enhance program reporting capabilities to support continuous improvement Assist in analysing Requirements and bundling activities using machine learning and natural language processing tools Support the coordination of prioritisation activities for Potential Projects Prepare program update reports and analyse trends to inform program development Utilise advanced analytics to track program and project performance against baselines Work closely with the Digital Operations team to integrate data from various sources Support the Program Development team in developing comprehensive reports for Defence Liaise with stakeholders to gather feedback and input for program improvement initiatives Assist in accurate reporting on aspects of the EWP What you will bring Baseline Clearance (or the ability to obtain this ie : Australian Citizenship) is mandatory for this position A degree in a relevant field such as data analytics statistics business analysis or related discipline A minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis program / project analysis or similar role Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Power BI Excel and other analytics platforms Experience in interpreting complex data sets and converting insights into actionable recommendations Proficiency with program management software and digital collaboration tools Ability to work with machine learning and natural language processing outputs Understanding of program management methodologies and best practices Ability to analyse trends identify patterns and develop insights to support decision-making Experience in developing and presenting analytical reports to stakeholders Demonstrated success in aligning program objectives with organisational strategic goals Proficiency in software applications commonly used in project and program management Strong written and verbal communication skills What to expect from us As an organisation we don’t just accept that we are a place of many different people but we embrace it we celebrate it and we proactively support the needs that difference brings.
