For more information on what we do visit us at The Role: We’re looking for a hands‑on and proactive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Coordinator to drive safety excellence across our NSW manufacturing facilities in Thornton and Somersby. This role ensures local safety, environmental, and quality compliance by implementing national HSEQ processes and partnering closely with site leaders and front‑line teams. You will be key to embedding safety‑first thinking where it matters most, on the ground. What you’ll do: Conduct hazard inspections, safety walks, and safety reviews across both sites. Support site leaders to implement corrective actions and safe work procedures. Communicate safety expectations and provide on‑the‑ground guidance to workers. Assist with return‑to‑work support for injured employees. Facilitate timely reporting, investigation, and close‑out of incidents. Maintain accurate records of identified risks, findings, and corrective actions. Escalate significant risks to the National HSEQ Manager. Champion proactive risk identification and continuous improvement. Deliver and coordinate HSEQ training and safety inductions. Maintain training and competency records. Support front‑line teams to understand and apply company safety systems. What you’ll bring: Experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing, industrial, or high‑risk environment. Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and safety standards. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. A proactive, collaborative style with a genuine commitment to safety.
