To meet increasing demand, we’re looking for a skilled and reliable Cook to join our busy kitchen and contribute to maintaining our exceptional culinary standards. Location: 9/2–10S William Thwaites Blvd, Cranbourne North VIC 3977 Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $76,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation Key Responsibilities Prepare, season, and cook a range of dishes across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. Maintain mise en place, portion control, and ingredient rotation (FIFO). Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; ensure all stations are ready for service. Monitor food quality, presentation, and temperature before dishes leave the pass. Support menu development and daily specials under the direction of the Head Chef. Maintain compliance with HACCP, WHS, and local food safety standards. Conduct cleaning and sanitising of kitchen areas, tools, and utensils. Manage stock, assist with ordering, and minimise waste. Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen team members. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth, timely service delivery. Skills & Experience Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification). Minimum 3 years’ experience in a busy restaurant or café kitchen. Sound knowledge of modern Australian cuisine and plating techniques. Strong grill, pan, and fry section skills; confident handling high service volumes. Understanding of WHS, HACCP, and allergen management procedures. Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure with strong teamwork and communication skills.
