Network Systems Engineer

In particular, we are looking for an experienced Network and Systems Engineer to support several radio based projects across Australia. Responsibilities Technical operation and maintenance of systems and subsystems of the P25 system for Government Wireless Networks (GWN). Act as a technical escalation point for Network Operations Control Centre (NOCC) staff and Field Engineers requiring technical assistance. Administration, configuration, fault finding and maintenance of networks, LAN, WAN, routers, switches, servers, workstations and applications. Administration, configuration, fault finding and maintenance of MS Server. Participate in regular on‑call roster for after‑hours call out to resolve urgent system problems. Provide mentoring opportunities for developing systems engineers. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary Qualifications in Electronics / Computer Systems Engineering or similar. Highly Desirable: Telecommunications, Land Mobile Radio (LMR). Microsoft Windows Server and/or SQL certification. CompTIA Linux+. Cisco Certified Network Certification. Juniper Certification. ITIL Certification.
