We are agile, fast moving and growing rapidly.Who are we looking for?We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner who will be supporting major projects and studies in Future Energy across the renewable project lifecycle. Reporting the Functional Lead for Planning and Scheduling this role will be required as a minimum to do the following.The Project Planner will work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain project schedules that are accurate, achievable, and meet project objectives. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently, understands project requirements and dependencies and develop schedules that accurately reflect the scope of work.Developing project schedules using specified procedure, as well as the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)Preparing Schedule development plans and Basis of Schedule (BOS)Providing support to the Project Managers, Project Engineers and Team leads in the formation of their Project schedules, using Primavera P6.Working with Procurement and Design personnel to obtain external information for Scheduling purposes in the form of vendor and equipment lead times and contractor services.Develop detailed class 5/4/3/2 Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning SchedulesWorking with Multidiscipline Engineers to align deliverables with schedule.Contributing to the development and maintenance of GHD planning proceduresReviewing method statements to ensure they align with the schedulesWhat would you bring to the team?Excellent communication and collaboration skills, when collaborating closely with internal and external clientsAn unwavering focus on delivering value to GHD’s clients10 -15 years’ experience in Project planning, developing Baseline schedules, Resource loading schedules and providing schedule updates and reporting in the energy and resources industryProficiency in Primavera P6 and Primavera Risk analysisAbility to Resource Load schedules with hours or costs to align with CAPEX Estimates and Design estimates.Ability to work with and establish coding structures to align estimates, schedules, and deliverables.Excellent understanding of overall project controls.Interested?
