Assistant Project Manager - Alice Springs RPS is seeking a qualified and experienced client-side Assistant Project Manager to join our Alice Springs team on a full-time permanent basis working on an exciting major Defence project. This role offers you scope, autonomy, challenge, collaboration, stakeholder engagement and a place at the front line on major projects. What you'll need to succeed Australian citizenship and holding or be able to successfully obtain and retain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory. A tertiary qualification in Construction, Architectural, Engineering, or similar is desirable. Experience / exposure with a range of delivery methodologies, in particular, Head Contract, Managing Contractor and Design and Construct is advantageous; Previous experience across Defence, including Defence writing skills; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner; Proactive and able to think strategically; Australian Citizen and able to successfully obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance. Ability to provide evidence to confirm vaccination status for COVID-19 to meet our client's vaccination requirements in accordance with government regulations. 1+ years client-side PM or a PMCA experience in the industries as mentioned above and familiarity with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (would be preferable, but not essential) AIPM Accreditation or equivalent would be advantageous.
