Overview Specialist Electrical Infrastructure Civil Contractor – West suburbs Melbourne office location. The opportunity is for a Civil Project Manager to assist on a $5 million project in the Western suburbs running to the end of the year. The company delivers trenching, bulk earthworks, laying HV conduit and concrete structures packages to Substation and Battery Energy Storage projects across Victoria. The Project Manager will be instrumental in coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to guarantee a smooth and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the execution of civil works for BESS and Substation projects. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams to achieve project goals. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and other stakeholders. Problem-solve and mitigate risks to keep projects on track. What We're Looking For 3+ years as a Senior Engineer or a Project Manager on civil projects, ideally with experience in the energy or infrastructure sectors. Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, earthworks, and concrete structures. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety. Strong commercial administration and project financial management. Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
