Officer Administration People And Culture - Fixed Term A varied and challenging role will have the successful applicant provide confidential administrative support to the People & Culture Branch of Gympie Regional Council. Role Overview Gympie Regional Council has an exciting full-time fixed term position for approximately 6 months, with the possibility of an extension. The successful applicant will provide administrative and customer service support for the People and Culture Branch. Essential Knowledge & Skills: Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to consult, communicate and solve problems effectively in a multidisciplinary environment within set guidelines. Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to produce high quality documents with attention to detail. Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures including time management, planning and organisational skills to maintain deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team in a professional and positive manner with the ability to be tactful and discrete when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature. Queensland ‘C’ Class driver's licence that is current and maintained. Essential Requirements: Provide administrative support, including word processing, data entry, report writing, correspondence and records management. Assist in special projects. Provide customer service to internal and external customers. Prepare, append, reconcile and record financial information via council’s online requisitioning system.
