Department of Logistics and Infrastructure – Darwin NT Senior Administrative Officer 1 - Remuneration Package Range $151,221 - $168,735 (including salary $128,551 - $143,611) Built Infrastructure - Infrastructure Delivery Palmerston One full time ongoing vacancy is available Join the Department of Logistics and Infrastructure and lead the delivery of complex capital works projects that shape the future of infrastructure across the Territory. The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure works with the community, business and government partners to regulate, construct, maintain and invest in integrated sustainable infrastructure, developments and services across the Territory. The Role As Principal Project Manager Capital Works, you will manage all phases of complex capital project delivery, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will provide expert advice to senior executives and client agencies, lead multidisciplinary teams, and act as Superintendent’s Representative on assigned projects. You’ll be responsible for stakeholder engagement, risk management, contract administration, and ensuring compliance with NT Government legislation, policies, and construction standards. Your leadership will help deliver infrastructure that meets the needs of the Territory community—now and into the future. About you Extensive experience delivering complex capital works projects, with a strong track record of meeting time, cost and quality targets. Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams and provide high-level technical and strategic advice. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across government, industry and community. In-depth knowledge of construction, design, procurement and maintenance practices, and relevant legislation and standards. Desirable – Qualifications in project management, contract management, construction, business or a related field.
