Assistant Club Manager Plus Fitness Five Dock We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Club Manager to join our team at Plus Fitness Five Dock and help drive strong membership growth, outstanding service delivery, and a thriving gym culture. You’ll work closely alongside the Club Owner/Manager, receiving hands‑on mentoring, continuous development, and real responsibility to sharpen your commercial and operational fitness leadership skills. As Assistant Club Manager, you’ll support the daily operations of the gym while ensuring our members enjoy an exceptional training experience every visit. Key focuses include leading staff, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting local community engagement initiatives that drive membership growth. When the Club Manager is unavailable, you will confidently step in as the primary on‑site leader — ensuring our members continue to receive the high standards Plus Fitness Five Dock is known for. This is a permanent part‑time role working 20 hours a week including Saturday, with real career progression opportunities. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain) Passion for fitness, health, and supporting others in their goals Proven customer service and sales skills — ideally in fitness or retail Experience motivating and leading a team Strong results mindset, with the ability to convert enquiries into memberships Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve membership growth targets through proactive lead follow‑up and sales conversions Track club performance metrics and work with management to improve results Mentor team members to strengthen their sales, service, and operational skills Support smooth new‑member onboarding including sign‑ups, inductions and access activation Promote Personal Training, Group Classes and any new initiatives to boost member engagement Assist with local marketing, brand presence and partnerships in the Five Dock community Respond promptly to member feedback and resolve issues professionally Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming workout environment Support workplace health & safety through hazard reporting and checklists Manage essential admin tasks and keep processes aligned with Plus Fitness standards Foster a strong, energetic team culture and assist with recruitment when needed Help manage and support Group Fitness & PT scheduling and lead generation #J-18808-Ljbffr
