Finance Professional Services Multiple full-time, permanent positions available Base salary will be in the range $102,565 - $111,686 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 7) Based at our vibrant St Lucia campus About This Opportunity We have multiple opportunities available for enthusiastic and detailed focused Finance Business Partners (Research) to deliver exceptional professional accounting services to Academics and Researchers across Faculties, Schools and Research Institutes. You will partner closely with Academics and Researchers to provide financial advice and support, guide decision making and ensure compliant cost management and effective utilisation of grants and related funding. Key responsibilities Provide financial advice to project leaders to guide decision making around the development of effective strategies for compliant cost management and effective utilisation of grants and related funding Apply project tools and processes for project budgeting, forecasting, periodic expenditure reporting, variance management and compliant interpretation of grant rules by project leaders in the client business units Manage the delivery of management accounting advice and services to a defined group of clients in the business units including the development of organisational unit budgets and forecasts and the performance of other budgetary control activities Manage application of financial processes, governance frameworks, policy controls and risk management frameworks across projects, to ensure ongoing compliance with University and external regulatory and compliance requirements Build and maintain strong working relationships acting as a trusted expert financial advisor Support the Manager, Finance Partnering with the preparation of business cases that guide the selection, validation and prioritisation of client business strategies and plans About UQ As part of the UQ community, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.
