Our Reservoir Officer works as part of the Headworks team which is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of Coliban Waters reservoirs and their associated infrastructure and catchments. The role is primarily based at Lauriston Reservoir but works across the Coliban Water region at various other sites. Barkers Creek, Lauriston, Malmsbury and Upper Coliban reservoirs provide opportunities for public recreation, including on-water recreation. These public spaces are well maintained and a source of pride for the team and broader organisation. The Reservoir Officer includes duties to monitor the Coliban Water recreational facilities by ensuring all activities occurring on Coliban Water owned land and water storages are appropriate and comply with company policies, relevant by-laws, regulations and legislation. A snapshot of your day Undertaking dam safety visual inspections on reservoirs to collect accurate data Assisting the team to help deliver various small projects and maintenance tasks Supervise contractors as directed by the Reservoir Controller Conduct patrols and surveillance on Coliban Water owned land and water storages to ensure polices, by-laws, regulations and legislation are being adhered to Sound like you? Learn more in the position description The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 2 ($62,475 - $72,897 plus super) salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
