About The Role As the Regional Team Leader, you will be responsible for day‑to‑day leadership, operational oversight, and coordination to ensure the effective delivery of our homelessness services. You will guide, support and develop a high performing team to deliver effective person‑centred case management, housing support, and safety planning that empowers families and individuals to overcome barriers, achieve sustainable housing, and improve overall wellbeing. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will monitor program performance, oversee expenditure, and ensure compliance with program guidelines, fostering a culture of teamwork professionalism and accountability to ensure the delivery of exceptional client services. Working closely with government agencies, community partners, and internal teams, you will strengthen local service delivery, identify new opportunities for community impact, and model the organisation’s values in every interaction. Key Responsibilities Provide effective and positive leadership, mentoring, and supervision to the SHS staff, ensuring team members are supported, accountable and guided to deliver high‑quality client services Act as a point of escalation for complex client issues or service delivery challenges, providing timely support and direction Provide guidance and oversight to ensure all staff understand and adhere to Work Health and Safety standards, organisational policies, program guidelines, and legislative obligations Promote a positive team culture build on collaboration, accountability, open communication and wellbeing, while modelling best practice and organisational values in all aspects of leadership Review and approve brokerage and financial assistance requests in accordance with program guidelines, and oversee program expenditure in alignment with policies and budget allocations Ensure staff deliver high‑quality case management, including development, monitoring and review of case plans, housing pathways and risk and safety planning to support sustainable housing outcomes Maintain accurate and timely client records, data, and documentation to support compliance, and reporting requirements Liaise and build positive relationships with internal teams, government departments, housing providers, specialist providers, and community support agencies to improve service coordination and client outcomes Monitor program performance to ensure services meet contractual outcomes, quality standards, and client needs About You To be successful for this role, we’re looking for a motivated empathetic and capable leader who can inspire others and maintain high standards of service delivery. You Will Have Proven leadership or supervisory experience in the homelessness, housing or community services sector and the ability to develop and motivate teams to deliver effective, high‑quality client outcomes. Strong understanding of the Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS). case management, trauma‑informed and person‑centred practice Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients and partner organisations Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and maintain service quality under pressure Experience in program compliance, reporting and performance monitoring Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands Sound understanding of relevant legislation, funding, and reporting requirements A commitment to social justice, inclusion, and creating pathways out of homelessness Current Driver’s Licence Please note that a satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
