Year 7 Teacher

Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Year 7 Teacher to join our Year 7 team commencing Thursday, 1 January 2026. The successful candidate will primarily teach Year 7 students, fostering their spiritual, moral, and academic growth through engaging and meaningful lessons. Experience in a Year 7 environment or upper primary setting will be highly regarded. We are looking for someone who will create an environment where students want to be and want to learn, making education collaborative, fun-filled and a place where students feel listened to and loved. Responsibilities Teach a range of core subjects to Year 7 students, ensuring lessons are engaging, meaningful and aligned with curriculum requirements. Design and implement differentiated learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, fostering confidence, independence and a love of learning. Create a classroom environment where students feel valued, listened to and inspired, making education collaborative, fun-filled and inclusive. Take responsibility for the behaviour management of your class, promoting positive conduct and a respectful learning culture. Build strong, positive connections with parents to support student learning and wellbeing. Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth. Collaborate with colleagues and the Head of Year 7 to promote holistic development and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment. Participate in co-curricular programmes and actively engage in the life of the College community.
