Junior Security Analyst – Tools & Monitoring – Baseline clearance required Launch Group is seeking Security Support professionals for two distinct roles: one focused on security tools and one focused on monitoring. Location: Melbourne or Canberra Day rate: $509 Duration: 12 month contract Role 1: Security Tools Support This role is responsible for the configuration and installation of key security tools including Carbon Black, Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP), and Data Center Security (DCS). You will support the migration of security solutions from external service providers to in‑house operations, ensuring these tools are deployed effectively to strengthen the organisation’s security posture. Ideal candidates will have strong expertise in endpoint protection, threat detection, and data centre security. Role 2: Monitoring Support This role will assist in transitioning monitoring tools and processes from an incumbent service provider to internal teams. You will help ensure a smooth handover, optimise monitoring platform configurations, and maintain continuity of monitoring services. This position requires solid technical experience with enterprise monitoring tools and automation across complex environments. Common tools include Splunk, Prometheus, Datadog, and Dynatrace. These roles are with a federal government client and require Australian Citizenship with Baseline clearance or higher.
