Permanent Full Time 40 hours a fortnight + a monthly ADO HS8 About the role Grampians Health is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join the organisation as Director Service Improvement. In this senior leadership role, you will: Lead service improvement, clinical planning, and models of service delivery across Grampians Health. Drive innovation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Champion co-design with consumers and ensure services evolve to meet emerging health needs. Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with our vision and values. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the Service Improvement team to deliver enhanced clinical outcomes. Apply proven improvement methodologies to drive change and innovation. Collaborate with executive and clinical leaders to ensure seamless, integrated care. Oversee operational budgets and ensure sustainability of services. Act as an escalation point for high-level clinical and operational planning and improvement challenges. Promote values-based leadership and a consumer-centered approach. Skills & Experience Relevant tertiary qualification and proven experience in healthcare management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Post-graduate qualifications in health services management, business analysis, service planning, improvement science, clinical redesign and/or research (desirable). Demonstrated experience in leading complex strategic projects and change programs. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
