SHED HAND/FORKLIFT OPERATOR

The role We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift / Sideloader Operator to join team, on a full-time basis in Wingfield, SA . The candidate will perform Pick Packer responsibilities when not performing work on the forklift or sideloader. This role places a strong focus on contributing to our vision of being fast, flexible and frequent, is ‘hands‑on’, and incorporates the following tasks: Loading, unloading, receiving, relocating &storing products, with accuracy; Following warehouse traffic management plans; Manually picking and packing of orders; Miscellaneous warehouse labour tasks. Comply with legislated &company WH&S systems; Inspect & perform minor maintenance on machinery; Comply with all company policies &legal guidelines; Liaise professionally & politely with stakeholders; Accurate attention to detail, of information &data; and Undertake additional duties asrequired. Qualifications & experience Current forklift ticket with min.3 years of operational experience; Side-loader experience, well regarded; Strong working knowledge of WH&S legislation; Previous experience loading trucks with product, highly regarded; Demonstrated attention to detail with effective written & verbal communication; Collaborative interpersonal skills; Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF Scanners, is desirable; Familiarity with timber warehouse operations is desirable; and Evidenced reliability and professionalism.
